DANIELLA SHREIR

Daniella Shreir is the founder and co-editor of Another Gaze, “a journal of film and feminisms”, as well as the creator of Another Screen, an international streaming service screening ephemeral, heavily contextualised programmes of under-seen films by women. For the past two years, she has lead an intensive critics workshop at Open City Documentary Festival in London. She is a translator into English of works including Chantal Akerman’s Ma mère rit (My Mother Laughs) and will soon publish a collection of texts by Marguerite Duras about her cinema. She is also a member of the selection committee of the Quinzaine des Cinéastes at Cannes.
