Biography

Dounia Sichov is a French editor, director, co-producer, and actress. She has worked on over 70 films, including Return to Seoul (Un Certain Regard, Cannes) by Davy Chou, Mariupolis II (Jury Prize – L’Œil d’or, Cannes) by Mantas Kvedaravičius, That Kind of Summer (Berlinale Main Competition) by Denis Côté, Mongrel (Caméra d’or, Cannes) by Chiang Wei Liang,

Invention (Best Actress Award, Locarno) by Courtney Stevens, and Isadora’s Children (Best Director, Locarno) by Damien Manivel.

Her short film VIKKEN received the Audience Award at FIDMarseille, the Jury Prize in Grenoble, and the Best Film Award at Olhar de Cinema. As a co-producer, she has collaborated

on Alive in France (Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes) by Abel Ferrara and A Skin So Soft (Locarno) by Denis Côté.
