HUDA AL KADHIMI

Biography

Huda Al-Kadhimi born in 1991 in Baghdad. She studied Business Administration at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in Jordan. She began in cinema through the workshops within the Royal Film Commission – Jordan, between the year (2006 – 2013) . She started working in film production with Iraqi Independent Film Center in Baghdad between the year (2013 – 2017), has made documentary and fiction long and short films. She gained significant experience in film production throughout her work as an assistant director of many films, including “The Journey” by Mohamed Al-Daradji, “Path of Maryam” by Atia Al-Daradji and “Haifa Street” by Mohanad Hayal and others. Huda Al-Kadhimi has written and directed a short film; ‘My Bird Tweets’ and Co-director ‘​Jouf Al-Sahari​’. She is currently working for her own company, Ishtar Iraq Film Production between Baghdad and Amman for developing film production with several projects.
