Graduate in History (URV) and Audiovisual Communication (UPF). He has worked in historical research, as a documentary scriptwriter and university professor.
Film and video curator, he has organized exhibitions and programs in Brazil, Israel, Russia, Colombia, the US, and China and collaborated with institutions such as KunstWerke (Berlin), Caixaforum, Instituto Cervantes or the Cineteca Nacional de México.
A jury in festivals in South Africa, Hungary, Italy, France, or Siberia including the Berlinale (Generation), since 2011 he is a programmer at Tallin Black Nights FF (Estonia), and delegate for Spanish-speaking countries.
During 2014/18 he was the main curator of the project OFF THE WALL, which brings Central & Eastern European films on tour in over thirty cities in nine countries in Europe and America.
Cofounder of REC International Film Festival of Tarragona in 2011 and artistic director since 2006, where in 2014 found Primer Test, a lab for Spanish new talents.
His last adventure is the distribution company El Sur Films, which brings new talents to the Spanish market with innovative ways of distribution.
