Biography

Untill 2016 Joanna Lapinska was artistic director of the New Horizons International Film Festival, the biggest film festival in Poland. She was responsible not only for the programme but also for the developing of the industry events. Joanna was the creator and mastermind behind the New Horizons Studio – the series of 

workshops for young talented people connected with film industry. She also built the Polish Days market, organized since 2012. Since 2016 she is Director of Programming of Transatlantyk Festival, where she is responsible for all the industry events as well as the film programme.
