Biography
Stefan Ivančić is a film director, producer and programmer. He graduated Film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. His short films have been selected in many international festivals such Cannes, Rotterdam, FID Marseille, San Sebastian, Visions du Réel and Torino, among others.
Stefan is the producer of the feature film The Load (2018) by Ognjen Glavonic, premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, and a co-producer of You Have the Night (2018) by Ivan Salatic, premiered at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica of the Venice Film Festival. He is a member of the selection committee of the Locarno Film Festival and has worked as a delegate for the IFF Rotterdam.
He teaches at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He is a member of the European Film Academy.
