Biography

Tomás Baltazar graduated in Sound and Video from the Universidade Católica of Porto, has a postgraduate in Movie and Television Editing, and attended the Cumbria Institute of the Arts, in Carlisle, UK. During his career as an editor, since 2005, he edited around 40 films, including full and short films, documentaries and fictions. 

These films have been screened and won awards in festivals such as Doclisboa, IndieLisboa, Rotterdam, Visons du Réel, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Chicago or Cinesul. Since 2014 he has been working with Doclisboa as a member of the Programme of International Competition.
