First Cut Lab Trieste 2015 was the very first edition of First Cut Lab which took place from January 18 to 20 during When East Meets West coproduction platform. 3 long feature fiction films in editing phase from Romania, Poland and Georgia were selected to participate. Producer/director teams received tailor-made advice from a consultant editor and expert feedback from top international film professionals. The FCL team consisted of Matthieu Darras and Alex Traila together with consultant editor Benjamin Mirguet. Advisers were: Rémi Bonhomme, Gabor Greiner, Guillaume De Seille, Vanja Kaludjercic, Marta Donzelli, Nikolai Nikitin, Rickard Olsson, Amra Baksic Camo, Lorenzo Esposito and Clément Duboin.
