3 First Cut Lab films in competition at Locarno78
The Locarno Film Festival 2025 lineup has been announced—and 3 First Cut Lab supported films have made the cut, all premiering in the Filmmakers of the Present competition!
The two Canadian films, BLUE HERON by Sophy Romvari and FOLLIES by Éric K. Boulianne took part in First Cut Lab Canada 2025 and Kazakhstan-born director Zhannat Alshanova’s BECOMING participated in FCL Trieste 2025.
We’re thrilled to see those films premiere in Locarno and wish all the best to the selected films!
