Biography

Anne-Cécile Rolland is the Head of Acquisitions at PYRAMIDE, French distributor and sales company focused on art-house titles, allowing Pyramide to grant audiences and buyers with a wide selection of high quality French and foreign films. Oliver Laxe, Dag Johan Haugerud, Mohammad Rasoulof, Emmanuel Mouret, Wang Bing are among the directors Pyramide has recently worked with.

Anne-Cécile was formerly the head of distribution at Pretty Pictures and Condor where she brought to the big screen Haifaa Al Mansou’s Wadjda, Thomas Vinterberg’s The Hunt, Antoine Russbach’s Those Who Work and Debra Granik’s Winter’s Bone and Leave No Trace, among many others.
She has also headed the Fiction Aid Fund for France’s Brittany Region for four years.
