Biography

Jón Hammer is an award-winning film producer based in the Faroe Islands and Denmark, with a proven track record in international co-productions, documentary filmmaking, and distinctive storytelling. He began his career at Zentropa in 2012, honing his craft in Copenhagen before founding Kykmyndir in 2017 — a company that later evolved into Outlier Projects to reflect a broader global vision.

With credits spanning feature films, TV series, and documentaries, including Skál (2021), TROM (2022), and The Last Paradise on Earth (2025), Jón has built a strong presence in both local and international productions. His ambition remains focused on telling bold, globally resonant stories.
