Biography

Maartje Alders (1983) is a producer and photographer from The Netherlands. She worked as project manager for NISI MASA – the European network of young cinema for four years. She collaborated with TorinoFilmLab on the organisation and selection of 

FeatureLab. She worked for 3 years as independent producer in Egypt. Her first feature documentary, MOTHER OF THE UNBORN, won multiple awards, at IDFA and FIPRESCI. She is part of the team of First Cut Lab since 2017, as scout and selection committee member.
