Biography
Nadia Turincev was born in Moscow (USSR), grew up in Paris, studied cultural anthropology. She started in the movie industry at age 16, as a trainee, making sandwiches for Marcello Mastroianni, then as set interpreter. She worked at ACE-European Film Studio, Europa Cinemas, European Producers Club, EU Media program, Cannes’ Directors Fortnight and Moscow IFF. She teaches production, including at Gobelins Paris.
In 2007, she co-founded Rouge International where she produced and internationally coproduced 25 films, selected and awarded at major festivals, and even got Oscar nominations (Fix ME, The Ride, Mimosas, Raw, The Insult, Faces Places…).
In 2019, she left Rouge and, with Omar El Kadi, created Easy Riders Films, producing films with prestigious festivals runs and awards.
Since 2022, she also produces for the Swiss company Akka Films (Sevda currently in post production).
