Biography

Olivier BARBIER graduated from EDHEC (Lille) and IIMB (Bangalore) in 2011. He worked at Wild Bunch (2011–2018), then joined MK2 Films, becoming Head of Acquisitions & Development (2020–2024). He has sold and/or acquired over 300 international films. 

In 2024, he co-founded Lucky Number, a new international sales company noted for its early successes, including THE BLUE TRAIL (Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize, Berlinale 2025) and PALESTINE 36 (International Feature Film Oscar shortlist).
