After their World Premiere in Toronto IFF at the beginning of the month, Stories from the Chestnut Woods, which participated in FCL Trieste, has won 11 awards at the Festival of Slovenian Film this weekend, including Best Film!! 11!!

Besides ‘Best film’ they won:

Best debut film
Best director – Gregor Božič
Best male actor – Massimo De Francovich
Best photography – Ferran Paredes Rubio
Best editing – Gregor Božič with Benjamin Mirguet and Beppe Leonetti
Best original score – Hekla Magnúsdóttir
Best set design – Giovanna Cirianni 
Best costume design – Katharina Jockwer & Mateja Fajt
Best sound design – Jan Vysocky & Julij Zornik
Best make-up design – Barbara Morosetti
and
Best film as selected by the audience
